CloseBot V2 has reimagined building complex bots in a way that makes it quick and easy for agency owners and businesses alike. Screenshots of the most complex bots get attention… we all marvel at automation superpowers. But what if I told you even the most basic bots built within CloseBot would be impossible with other bot building platforms? 🤯
CloseBot makes the complex bots look easy. The ones that look complex are the ones that are accomplishing previously impossible tasks. Let’s look at the difference between three levels of complexity and show you how CloseBot V2 will make it easier than ever for you to build powerful bots for businesses.
Simple Agents: Getting Started
Let’s start with the simple bots. These are the types of bots that most agencies start with. Typically, these bots focus on light lead qualification and then flagging a human to step in or booking an AI-guided appointment when ready.
The example below shows a bot that would conversationally gather contact name, email and phone number before allowing the lead to book an appointment. The AI is free to decide how to gather these pieces of information since they are all together within the same action (a multi-objective action). With this multi-objective approach, you can harness the power of free-thinking AI while maintaining the reliability of structured objectives.
In addition to these actions you see within the bot builder, there are additional text input fields where you can tell the AI Agent why the conversation is happening and provide information about the business.
Moderate Agents: Adding Paths and Conditions
The simple example above could be done with other bot builders. However, CloseBot’s objectives make it more reliable at scale compared to others that don’t rely on order-based objectives. The moderate example shown here demonstrates something that cannot be done within other bot builders without more complex bot handover logic that would typically need to be handled within CRM workflows.
If you’ve built bots before, you know how cumbersome it can be to change between bots within GoHighLevel or HubSpot flows. There’s no need for that with CloseBot V2.
In this example, the first action is the same as our simple bot. The AI would conversationally gather email, name and phone however it wants. After collecting that information, this AI will examine the value it found for the contact’s reason for joining the gym and route to different objectives depending on what it determined.
For instance, if the contact said they are joining for weight loss or muscle gain, we want the AI to find out how much weight they want to lose or how much muscle they want to gain respectively. After gathering this information, it can conversationally book them for an appointment on the Muscle and Weight Loss calendar within GoHighLevel.
We also have a Miscellaneous Appointment calendar. If the contact gives a reason for wanting to join the gym that isn’t weight loss, muscle gain, or cardio, the bot can conversationally book them to this calendar. However, cardio clients are required to make a downpayment before booking. We included a Delay (variable) action to force the AI to wait at this stage until a field in HighLevel is updated. This field would be updated within HighLevel workflows once the contact submits their payment. After payment is received, CloseBot would allow the AI Agent to proceed to conversationally booking on the Miscellaneous Appointment calendar.
This is likely the point where you can start to see that this would be nearly impossible to get other bot builders to do. CloseBot gives you the power to build expert-level bots quickly and easily.
Complex Agents: Advanced Multi-Path Solutions
There are many types of actions that CloseBot supports. Anything you can imagine can be done. There are those rare times where you need to build something truly complex, and CloseBot is here to handle those AI Agent builds too!
For example, look at this complex real estate bot. Then look at the prompting that would be required to attempt to get a bot built in a different application (without drag and drop) to accomplish the same thing. Spoiler alert… one of these works and the other doesn’t!
Prompting Attempt: Gather the contact’s name, email and phone number. This is mandatory before determining whether this person is a real estate buyer, seller or both. If they are a buyer, tag them as a buyer before getting their budget. If they are a seller, tag them as a seller before getting their address. Then use the tool to get their property value. Then after you get their address and value, get their selling timeline. Do all of this as well if the person is a buyer and a seller both. Also, if we can’t determine whether they are buying, selling or both, stop responding. If they are buying and not selling, set an appointment on the realtor calendar. If they are selling and their timeline for selling is further than two months out, also book the appointment on the realtor calendar. If they are selling and need to sell within 2 months, book them on the real estate wholesale calendar… 😂 good luck AI Agent 👍
The complex bot starts by gathering name, email, and phone number before determining conversationally whether the person is a buyer, seller, or both in real estate. Depending on their status, the bot follows completely different paths:
- For buyers and sellers both: Get their budget, add the “buyer” tag, then branch to the seller side of things
- For sellers only: Add the “seller” tag, get their address, use an external API to get the property value, then get their selling timeline
- Based on selling timeline: If selling quickly (within 2 months), route to a wholesaler; if not selling within 2 months, route to a traditional realtor
- For buyers only: Allow booking with a realtor
- If status cannot be determined: Stop responding (potential scam protection)
This level of conditional logic, external API integration, and multi-path conversation would be IMPOSSIBLE to implement with text-based prompting alone.
Summary
CloseBot is built to help you create expert-level bots quickly and easily, from simple lead qualification to complex multi-path conversations. While this post outlines the key benefits, we recommend watching our full video to see the visual builder in action. Bryce demonstrates each complexity level in detail, showing exactly how these powerful bots work in a way that text alone can’t capture.
